Meet Our Founders

Mrs. Darlene
Darlene Jenkins was born in Mississippi. We called her “Dear,” as she was one of the sweetest people you would have ever met and was well-known for her cooking, especially her desserts. She was a God-fearing woman who had a passion for creating delicious food for the soul with a warm smile of southern hospitality. Granny was and always will be, a great matriarch for our family. Though she is gone, her legacy of taking care of her family, along with her incredible recipes will carry on through our family for a lifetime.

Mrs. Ruth
Earnestine “Ruth” Perry was a native of Ohio. We called her “Momma.” She was a loving and caring person, known for her spectacular cooking style and desire for excellence. She would always prepare her dishes to be a taste of perfection, until she had it down to a science. Momma was full of wisdom and will always be a woman of admiration and highly esteemed and will never be forgotten.
